Needle Exchange Program - NEP

We believe in harm reduction and providing a safe place for people to access clean supplies and testing.
Our goal is to reduce the spread of Hepatitis C and HIV in our community.

About the Needle Exchange Program (NEP):

  • It’s free.
  • You can visit as often as you like.
  • You can pick up supplies for a friend, family member or yourself.
  • You don’t have to give your name.
  • You can get testing done. Blood testing is done for HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B and Syphilis.
    Urine testing is done for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.
  • We get rid of dirty equipment. Please bring in your containers.
  • Want help? We can assist with getting treatment or counselling arranged for you.

If you or someone you know is suffering from an addiction, we can help. Everything is private.
The needle exchange program is located inside the Clinical Services on the Main Floor. 

Drop-In Hours:

Monday: 9 - 4pm
Tuesday: 1 - 4pm
Wednesday: 1 - 4pm
Thursday: CLOSED
Friday: 9 - 4pm
