Exempt Food Premises Fact Sheet

Non-Inspected Premise Sign
Even though, churches, service clubs and fraternal organizations are exempt from complying with Ontario Food Premises Regulation 562, they are required to post in a prominent location a sign stating the premise is not inspected by public health. Click above to download the wording for these signs.

Ontario Public Health legislation requires anyone who

Special Notification Form For a Small Fundraiser Barbeque
Small fundraiser barbecues are sometimes held on the sidewalk outside of a store or other place of business such as a retail store, a local nursery, or in a parking lot.  Usually only one vendor prepares foods (precooked only) such as hot dogs, sausages or hamburgers that are purchased from an approved source.
