Please call the Medical Association at 519-631-1450. If there are any doctors available they will be listed on the recorded message with all of the information.

Health Care Connect also assists people seeking a family health care provider. Ontarians who don't have a provider can register for the program by calling 1-800-445-1822.



How do I get a Health Card?
Call the Ministry of Health at 1-888-376-5197. The Ministry of Health comes to St. Thomas two days a month to renew health cards. They are at the St. Thomas Public Library (downstairs).

Please call the Ministry number to make an appointment.

Is there a Walk-in-Clinic in St. Thomas?
Yes, there is one Walk-In-Clinic in St. Thomas and it is located at 230 First Ave., Suite 105. The phone number is 519-633-9627. The hours are: Weekdays 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (depending on doctors availability) No appointment is necessary.
